Role: Marketing & Social Media Manager
Location: Remote
Hours: Contract, up to 16 hours per week
Duration: Negotiable

We’re looking for an experienced and adaptable marketing & social media manager to join us at Land & Sea! This role will play a key part in the development of a public facing voice and strategy in relation to our all-new original IP Summerhill, as well as supporting our existing Alto titles.
We’re a small, remote team working across multiple time-zones. There is a high degree of flexibility built into this position, and you are free to define your own schedule, providing periodic meetings with either our head of operations in Australia, or associate producer in Poland.
You’ll be working closely with our head of operations, director and associate producer to develop and execute upon marketing and social media strategy and asset development. You are someone who takes pride in your work and holds yourself to a higher standard than most. You welcome constructive feedback, thrive in a self-directed environment and are comfortable wearing many hats.
Responsibilities
Assist the director and production team in establishing a sustainable marketing and community building strategy for Summerhill with current project constraints in mind.
Coordinating and generating social media posts with the intention of raising the awareness and profile of the studio and our current projects.
Developing social media and other public facing static/animated assets to accompany social media posts and marketing campaigns.
Assessing marketing/social media strategy performance over time and providing guidance to further optimise and improve our approach.
Requirements
A strong portfolio that shows a range of marketing strategy execution and public facing asset development work.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills – fluent in English.
A strong sense of independence and autonomy.
Confidence and ability to make key decisions about marketing and social media strategy, even with limited guidance.
Comfortable adapting to the minimalist visual style of both Summerhill and the Alto Series when generating public facing assets.
Experience working with Unity to capture screenshots and video for social media export.
Proficient in 2D software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for graphic design purposes.
Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut or similar.
Experience delivering assets to detailed specifications, for web or print.

Experience with animation or motion graphics.
